    Academia and education have 'cut out' LGBT issues, the report says

    6:04 PM — A new National Union of Students report says that LGBT issues have been "actively cut out" of education and academia. The report, Liberation, Equality and Diversity in the Curriculum, says lessons in all subjects should try to be more "inclusive", with focus on LGBT issues, ethnic minorities and people with disabilities.

    The guide tells LGB students what support they can expect

    12:00 PM — Gay rights charity Stonewall has named the top universities for lesbian, gay and bisexual students. The online guide, Gay by Degree, tells potential students whether institutions offer services such as LGB student groups, compulsory staff training on LGB issues and careers advice aimed at LGB students.
