10:50 AM — Ahead of World AIDS Day, the Sexual Health Messaging Service, which allows men to alert previous partners when they are diagnosed with an infection, is being rolled out to more clinics and websites and is asking users to opt in to receive messages.

4:42 PM — London-based gay charity Galop is seeking other men who have had to reveal past convictions for buggery or gross indecency. The charity is supporting John Crawford, who is fighting to remove a 51-year-old conviction for consensual homosexual sex from his criminal record.

Illegal cab driver jailed for sex attacks on gay men 4
4:45 PM — A Deptford man who posed as a taxi driver has been jailed for ten years for raping one man and sexually assaulting another. Mohamad Caid, 38, was convicted last month of rape, attempted rape, sexual assault and two charges of false imprisonment. He was told he would serve at least five years.

Government appointment of faith advisors attacked as ‘cynical’ 25
1:39 PM — The appointment of 13 'faith advisors' to the government has been attacked by the National Secular society as "cynical" and "an insult to non-religious Britons". The charity warned that most people "disregard" religious teachings on issues such as homosexuality and said the appointment was "undemocratic".

12:06 PM — A far right Christian group has urged fellow Christians to support Uganda's proposed law that would make homosexuality punishable by death. The law would impose the death penalty on those convicted of having gay sex with a minor or disabled person or someone infected with HIV.

10:27 AM — Gay singer Elton John has said he cannot guarantee the Labour Party his vote. Speaking to the Daily Telegraph's Mandrake column at his AIDS Foundation Winter Ball, the star said he did not feel Brown had grasped the "extent" of the rise in HIV infections.
