    12:56 AM — A bill introduced earlier this year in the US state of Arizona to allow businesses to refuse transgender people the right to use facilities appropriate to their gender identity, has been temporarily shelved by its sponsor, and will not go to vote in the House until next year.

    The bill would allow businesses to say trans people can only use their facilities according to the gender on their birth ceritifcate

    4:23 PM — A panel of lawmakers from the Arizona House of Representatives voted on Wednesday to pass a bill which would allow business owners to discriminate against trans people by barring their use of facilities that don't correspond to the gender on their birth certificate.
