    10:59 AM — The International Gay and Lesbian Association (ILGA) has finally won United Nations accreditation. The group, which is one of the oldest international organisations fighting for gay rights, has been trying to gain recognition at the UN for years.

    Rwanda to vote on criminalising homosexuality 31

    Prison terms of up to ten years could be imposed

    11:11 AM — Rwanda's lower house will reportedly vote today on a revision to the penal code which would criminalise homosexuality. It would impose prison sentences of five to ten years, or fines higher than the average yearly wage.
