    11:28 AM — The father of a 15-year-old Canadian boy who killed himself last weekend says his son was bullied for being gay. Jamie Hubley, of Ottawa, said he couldn't take any more depression, harassment and loneliness before he was found dead on Saturday.

    5:09 PM — The mother of a gay teenager who killed himself is pressuring Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann to speak about the issue. Justin Aaberg, 15, who went to school in Minnesota's Anoka-Hennepin School District, hanged himself in 2010 after suffering anti-gay bullying.

    4:23 PM — Civil rights leader Jesse Jackson has denied claims he harassed and ridiculed a gay employee. Tommy Bennett, who worked for Rev Jackson's civil rights group Rainbow PUSH from 2007-2009, alleges that his co-workers discriminated against him because he is gay.

    2:22 PM — Two men from Carlisle have been fined for shouting abuse at two transgender women in the street. Carlisle magistrates' court heard that Wayne Blair and Stephen Currie, both 22, had threatened Simone Armstrong and Kim Oakland and yelled anti-gay abuse at them.
