    2:42 PM — HIV charities say there is no evidence 'fish pedicure' spas can transmit the virus. The Health Protection Agency said today that there is a risk of catching infections like HIV and hepatitis from the beauty craze, which involves placing the feet in a basin while Garra Rufa fish nibble at dead skin.

    5:37 PM — Another Conservative MP has attacked plans to encourage schools to include references to gay people in maths, science and geography. South Dorset MP Richard Drax said the voluntary lesson plans were "ludicrous" and would impose "questionable sexual standards" on children.

    2:05 PM — Large public employers are being encouraged to find out how represented lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people are in their organisations. As part of the Equality Act, all public bodies will be required to publish information about the diversity of their staff from April but the government will not set diversity targets.
