The woman, whose ex-partner is the biological mother of the ten-year-old girl, wants the father's name wiped from the girl's records, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

The publicity in question is believed to relate to the complaints of the grandparents of two Edinburgh-based children who were adopted by a gay couple.
