12:31 AM — The Government tonight lost three votes in the House of Lords over legislation that would have restricted the ability of churches to deny jobs to LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgenered) people.

12:14 PM — A video urging Christians to take action against the Equality Bill is to be shown in churches this weekend. Christian Concern for Our Nation warns that under the bill, churches will be sued for not employing "practising homosexuals".

Former drag queen awarded £30,000 in unfair dismissal case 7
11:10 AM — Former drag queen ,Dean Awford, has been awarded £30,000 for unfair dismissal from a high end furniture store. Employment Judge David Kearsley found that Mr Awford had been unfairly dismissed by store manager David Gray.

Straight teacher loses homophobic harassment claim 12
4:18 PM — A straight Scottish teacher who tried to make a claim for homophobic harassment has lost his case. James Campbell, who worked at at Denny High School, claimed that the homophobic insults he received amount to sexual orientation discrimination, despite being straight.
