US chuch’s “gay nativity scene” vandalised on Christmas Day 11
9:22 AM — A nativity scene featuring gay, lesbian and straight couples outside a church in California was reportedly vandalised on Christmas Day. Claremont United Methodist Church had erected a large set of silhouettes around a lit tree sculpture. The silhouettes featured one gay, one lesbian and one straight couple.

11:00 AM — A Scottish church minister has caused outrage by comparing homosexuality to paedophilia, polygamy and theft. Speaking on a BBC Radio Scotland ‘Call Kaye’ discussion on Friday, the Reverend James Gracie, a minister of the Free Church of Scotland (Continuing), said being gay was a "lifestyle choice".

Aberdeen minister resigns over gay clergy 156
11:15 AM — A church minister in Aberdeen has resigned over the issue of gay clergy. Reverend Peter Dickson, of High Church in Hilton, said he felt "genuine sorrow" at taking the decision. He said that the decision to accept openly gay clergy meant his position was becoming "untenable".
