Aberdeen minister resigns over gay clergy 156
11:15 AM — A church minister in Aberdeen has resigned over the issue of gay clergy. Reverend Peter Dickson, of High Church in Hilton, said he felt "genuine sorrow" at taking the decision. He said that the decision to accept openly gay clergy meant his position was becoming "untenable".

3:12 PM — Another Church of Scotland minister has resigned over the issue of gay clergy. The Reverend Roddy MacRae, minister of Glenelg and Kintail, said he would stand down after the Kirk's general assembly voted to accept gay and lesbian ministers in future.
