2:17 PM — A street preacher has appeared in court in Somerset on charges of verbally abusing a gay couple. Michael Overd, 47, from Creech St Michael in Somerset, allegedly told Craig Manning and Craig Nichol that they were “evil” and would “burn in hell”.

US Sheriff’s department ‘paid evangelicals to turn lesbian straight’ 14
10:01 AM — A lesbian is suing a sheriff's department in Georgia, USA, after it allegedly paid $600 for two evangelicals to turn her straight. Amanda Booker, who is now in custody over a separate incident, is suing officials after she claims Bartow County Sheriff's Department in Georgia forced her to attend gay conversion therapy instead of taking her to a drug rehabilitation centre.

11:04 AM — The Christian owners of a seaside hotel are being sued by a gay couple they refused a double room to. Peter and Hazelmary Bull, who own the Chymorvah Private Hotel in Cornwall, refused to let civil partners Martin Hall and Steven Preddy stay in a room with a double bed in 2008.

Apple removes ‘anti-gay’ iPhone app 30
3:45 PM — Apple has apparently removed an app from its iTunes store which rails against gay marriage and LGBT rights. The app, created by a Christian group, disappeared from the online store after media attention, first reported on PinkNews.co.uk.

Anti-gay groups upset at being called ‘hateful’ 38
1:53 PM — US anti-gay organisations have hit back after being included on a list of 'hate groups'. The Family Research Council and National Organization for Marriage were named by a civil rights body as two of 18 groups which "demonise" gay people and propagate "known falsehoods".

Apple approves ‘anti-gay’ iPhone app 48
5:54 PM — Apple has approved an iPhone app which calls on users to sign up to a declaration against LGBT rights and gay marriage. The app is based on the Manhattan Declaration, a manifesto released in 2009 by Christian and Catholic leaders which rails against the "erosion" of marriage.

2:15 PM — A Christian doctor who claimed she was a victim of religious discrimination has lost her case against Northamptonshire County Council. Dr Sheila Matthews said homosexuality was "not God's will" and that children do better with heterosexual parents.

11:54 AM — A Christian doctor who was removed from an adoption panel after she refused to endorse applications by same-sex couples hopes to go to the European Court of Justice. Dr Sheila Matthews, of Kettering, will ask the court to establish whether medical opinion should be permitted to override equality laws.

Bishops say gay rights laws damage Christian freedoms 60
12:20 PM — Leading Church of England bishops have claimed that equality laws mean gay rights are being "privileged" over the rights of Christians. The figures, including former Archbishop of Canterbury Lord Carey and Bishop of Winchester Michael Scott-Joynt, said that gay rights supporters are able to "suppress all disagreement or disapproval and 'coerce silence'."
