BBC: Presenters can promote National Christmas Jumper Day & Movember but not World AIDS Day 45
12:10 PM — It has emerged that BBC presenters are allowed to promote National Christmas Day and Movember but are banned from promoting World AIDS Day. On World AIDS Day 2011, the BBC broadcast an extended film about a presenter shaving off his 'Movember' moustache to raise awareness for prostate cancer, in apparent contravention of its own rules.

3:20 PM — A waitress who was given thousands of dollars in donations after she posted a photo of a receipt which she claimed proved that a family had declined to tip her because she is gay, has come under fire from many who have questioned why the money was not donated to charity, as she promised.
