Rabbi 'cures' lesbians with sand
An Israeli rabbi swears by a novel way of getting lesbians to return to their husbands, special sand that will have the estranged wife running back.
The unnamed rabbi swore that his "special sand" would bring the wife of a local man in Bnei Brak, Isreal, back to him, with the sand lifting the curse that his wife was under.
Gay activists go Green
The Green party's annual conference is set to be dominated by gay issues after human rights activist Peter Tatchell and Polish Green's LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) spokesperson Bartek Lech, have agreed to speak.
Mr Lech, who has campaigned against nationalism and intolerance in Poland, will be speaking about personal and press freedoms in the country.
NUS campaigns for estranged gay teenagers
The NUS is leading a campaign for an end to means testing for student funding and grants for estranged students who have been forced from their homes, the committees LGBT officer revealed today.

Firemen disciplined after no show at gay pride

Thugs Henry Peters and Neil Wattley have been found guilty of attacking Elton John fans following the star's concert at Watford football stadium last June, according to HemelHempsteadToday.
The pair attacked uncle and nephew Graham and John Brydon shouting "Elton John is f***ing gay" after Peters had spotted the official concert T-shirt Graham Brydon was wearing.
Seamen required for cruising channel
The Big Cruise is looking for seamen to jump aboard when it sets sail next May on its maiden voyage.

Wal-Mart criticised for pro-gay attitude
Wal-Mart has risked the wrath of its bible belt roots in the United States after joining the a gay commerce group.
The Arkansas based company has faced opposition in its changing attitude to gay and lesbian people in the US by groups such as the American Family Association (AFA).
AFA says that by joining the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce (NGLCC) Wal-Mart has abandoned its "pro family stance."
Badgering for LGF
The Apprentice finalist Ruth Badger will be helping out with the Lesbian Gay Foundation (LGF) at the forthcoming Manchester Pride's Big Weekend, August 26-28.
Ms Badger has apparently been putting her entrepreneurial skills to the test by helping out to organise and develop the LGF's campaign for the weekend which is aimed at people in the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community.
Couple divorce over transsexual husband
A Surrey couple have been forced into a divorce after wife Catherine Everett claimed that her husband's behaviour resulted in the break down of their marriage.
Ms Everett admitted feeling "used" when she discovered her husband had been a transsvestite prior to their relationship which began back in the 1990's and had not given upon his secret desire to be a woman.
