I was serving as a diplomat for the Italian Government and I made the same choice leaving the The Foreign Ministry and chosing to stay with my Chinese Partner: We also live together since 12 years and now we run a small hotel in Venice with an oriental style tea-room. The Italian Government is even worse than the US government because of the impious influence of the Vatican! Again I wish to express all my admiration for Amb. Guest and hope to meet him one day in Venice! All my support to Amb. Michael Guest.
