Sadly most Fire & Rescue Services are still in the land of Macho when it comes to LGBT issues and women; they need to take a leaf out of the various Gay Police Associations across the World over the last decade but sadly its because the police are "tempered" in their Machismo by having a lot of women around (and not all police women are gay!)

Geez, wouldn't it be great to take every heterosexual to court that ever taunted a gay person with sexually explicit comments. As for the mates of those firemen calling them to taunt them for participating in a gay parade………I wonder if lawyers would even consider that this "nudge and a wink" attitude is itself a form of homophobia. Maybe these guys may get a taste of what men subject women to and also get a reality check of what gay men feel when they are degraded! Come on, be brave heterosexual men and stop manipulating justice to taunt gay rights! Besides, every straight male on earth has every form of religion praising his genitals and every law on earth protecting and promoting his existance! You can't eat your cake and have it too!

I think they have every right to file a law suit, not just sexual harrassment. They should not have been forced to particpate, every one knows what a pride parade is like, it's not a recruitment effort #2 and most fireman respect their job and we should to, not hit on them, come on.
