My disagreement with the Bosnian politician aside (for his objection to an LGBT cultural event during the month of Ramadan, in which abstinence from sexual activity regardless of whether it is straight or gay is promoted) I am more appalled at some of the disgusting and ignorant messages left on here. Reflect on your own bigotry dear 'brothers' and ask yourself whether it is any worse than the Bosnian politican's anti-LGBT bigotry?

I am a Bosnian and stragith. It is outrageous that ANYONE would even try to stop the festival. Everyone has rights to their own sexuallity, religion or whatever the hell they believe.

Bearing in mind that muslims take the same level of offence at the naming of a teddy bear or a few cartoons that the rest of would if our family had their heads chopped off, I think we can safely consign their comments to the Seething and Whining bin (which is overflowing, and has been for the past 1400 years).

I am provoked and have my intelligence insulted each and every day by a barrage of evidence-free belief systems but Stephen Fry can put it better than me:

"I am a lover of truth, a worshipper of freedom, a celebrant at the altar of language and purity and tolerance. That is my religion, and every day I am sorely, grossly, heinously and deeply offended, wounded, mortified and injured by a thousand different blasphemies against it. When the fundamental canons of truth, honesty, compassion and decency are hourly assaulted by fatuous bishops, pompous, illiberal and ignorant priests, politicians and prelates, sanctimonious censors, self-appointed moralists and busy-bodies, what recourse of ancient laws have I? What isn't provative to Muslims? About time they lightened up and saw the world as it really is rather than through blinkered eyes clouded by man made "theoligical" nonsense.
