		<description>Just what’s the stigma within sport? It&#039;s one of the only sectors that still has this tolerated discrimination and nobody’s jumped in to stop it yet.

I know nations are select in their coverage of other country’s achievements perhaps (opting for regional results), but cutting away from Matthew’s celebrations goes against the Olympic spirit. I really would’ve had concerns if the scenes weren’t captured or shown at all though. 

I’m sure London will provide a much more open platform where the diversity (of the city and competitors) will be celebrated, but ultimately it is the decision of the athlete to go public or not I guess.</description>
