So if not having his body is no bar to the proceedings going ahead, why did they feel the need to disturb it in the first place?
Looks like they have their "miracle" too. Their God, knowing what they'd do, protected him by natural means before they could carry out their homophobic crap.

this from a goverment that bends over backwards for each and every religious nutter? This from a goverment who have put a halt to Queer Rights legislation that should have been ratafied months ago?

OK, so we can have comments about this for days to come, but what are WE going to lawfully and peacefully do about it?

If we cannot find a court in the country that will stop the abuse of this dead man's will, then it is a poor state of affairs for all concerned and not just the gay community.

Any members of the legal profession online?

The Catholic Church should spend the money in charity, not in show-biz, that's what sainthood is about. Besides the British Government should do something to ensure that people's right to rest in peace must be respected and protected by law.

They say that they need one more miracle before he becomes a Saint and that miracles are hard to come by in Britain these days, I think London being awarded the 2012 Olympics came pretty close

My view on this is that the catholic church is very open and honest about its intolerance; homophobia and bigotry. Tatchell accusing them of homophobia is merely stating the bleeding obvious.
