Right on the button SMC. While our national, high-profile, politicians tend to say all the right things, further down the food chain they use any nasty bigotry to advance their causes.

Until the homophobic bigots face the same sanctions as racists, they will continue to do it. (And "some of my best friends are gay" only washes a little if said friends defend them)

Getting a bit confused here, hasn't this argument been used very recently by none other than the heinous Miranda Grell:

"Grell had told the court that the accusations against her were part of a plot by rivals jealous of her election win.

The slurs were said to have 'destroyed life' for Barry Smith

But District Judge John Woollard said: "I cannot accept the conspiracy theory put forward by Miss Grell in any shape or form.

"It doesn't fit in with the nature of the police investigation and the evidence of what people said."

Despite being twice found to have committed untold evil against her gay opponent, the link below, shows that both she and her Labur chums are sorry only for what they have lost and NOT what they have done.

Who on earth uses language like that nowadays? Do we refer to "heterosexuality" as a persuasion? The answer is a resounding NO! Sexual is most definitely NOT a persuasion. Its clear Neil Connelly needs to get with it and educate himself on what sexual orientation is all about. "Homosexual" a word coined by Sigmund Freud is used by the right wing in the U.S. and used as a veiled homophobic reference. They refuse to use the term "gay". If his mother isn't homophobic, why did she support section 28? What does she now say about it?
