But self-devaluing is SO endemic in the CoE at this stage that many regard themselves as "less than" and will neglect themselves and their partners rather than stand up and be counted. Sure, the likes of the Bishop in Rochester would probably race round with their Gafcon posse to denounce those priests from a great self-righteous height and remove them from their posts immediately. But it would show them for what they are, and those priests might find the opportunity to live their lives in freedom and happiness instead of having to hide themselves away in a continuing devalue-system. I can live in hope for them.
