Paedophiles are no more likely to be child abusers than men are to be rapists ..

The issue is not that this daft woman talks rubbish.. but that the demonisation and vilification of pedophiles continues at all levels in society . From the ruling elite to the media to the vigilante mob.

Well done, Andrew Muir! Her comment was offensive in the extreme. Yes, she has a right to free speech, but there are limits to that. She is a very sick woman in my opinion.

The Vatican has NO credibility on the issue of paedophiles- THEY sponsored and protected thousands of them worldwide who RAPED children.

Mrs. Robinson seems to have severe mental problems, and perhaps she is troubled with her own sexuality- that's been MY experience when I've been verbally and physically attacked- I found out, sometimes YEARS later that my attacker was a self hating repressed gay.

Actually, this is the view of many in the Vatican, the reason why gay men are now excluded from entering seminaries. They make no accusation of heterosexual paedophiles or the criterion for excluding them either.
