When will religion or certain social groups stop being blamed for all that is wrong in the world?

Why cant we all just make it plain to see that Equality is for all, and instead of commending the Dutch towards making the appropriate steps towards equality we seem to rant back to immigrants and Islamic extremists.
At least their government has committed to millions of Euros to fighting homophobia in the country, which is more than can be said of ours.

The 40 years since Enoch Powell announced disgracefully that Britain would soon be wading through “rivers of blood” as a consequence of immigration has not been realised. He was wrong 40 years ago and the enemies of equality and compassion towards gay refugee are wrong today.
Equality and sexuality is just as much a fundamental right as any other despite religion or ethnic or sexual orientation.

Luke, the Dutch are more savvy to allow their society to be overrun with islamic extremists. It is now already a requirement for would-be immigrants to Holland to be given a test on equality issues. Those opposing them are not automatically allowed permission to migrate either. The Dutch will manage their affairs as they have done for hundreds of years, with pragmatism. Islamic extremists have a choice, they can either assimilate or not and if they don't, they're loss. Let them move somewhere else or go back from whence they came if its so bad in the west.

I think the increases in homophobic attacks are probably a bit likte the rise of fundamentalism…a defensive reactionary last stand against an inevitably changing world, it will end after time.

Talk about re-arranging deckchairs on the Titanic. Holland is doomed by islamic demographics, with high birthrates, high immigration and native Dutch fleeing to other countries in unprecedented numbers.

And can we say it like it is? The homophobic attacks in Amsterdam are largely carried out by Moroccan muslim immigrants.

When the demographics really kick in, blushes about a birth certificate will be the least of their worries.
