There are no gods male or female, no allahs, no father sons and holy ghosts, no fairies, no sprites, no angels, no devils, no heaven, no hell, no Humpty Dumpty, no Tinkerbell, no Tooth Fairy, no Santa Claus, no Easter Bunny, no Mickey Mouse, no Never-never-Land,no Mother Goose, no Jolly Green Giant, no Superman, no Batman, no Robin, no Spiderman, no Captain Marvel, no Apollo, no Aphrodite, no Zeus.

What there is, is our imaginations, which produce all these characters and more. Its what we do as a species. We make things up for our own amusement, and also as explanations for things we don't understand. Its natural if folks don't understand something to create some explanations be the fatasies or reality. Being adult means outgrowing this nonsense and knowing the diference between what is real and what is imagined.

Niether are there any Holy Books, only the books that we have written and committed our imaginings too.

Outside of the imagination, no supernatural world exists, so don't let it interfere with Our Gay Reality or anyone elses reality for that matter.

Hear Hear to all these comments! I am getting sick and tired of reading and listening to bleeding heart liberal white heterosexual men (especially journos and judges) in their blinkered ivory towers talking of 'islamophobia' and how we should make room for muslim values, laws & customs in our society. They are the equivelent of Daily Mail journalists in the 1930s for urged Britons to be nice to those cuddly, misunderstood National Socialists in Germany led by Mr Hitler. I say to them try being a woman or a gay man living in a predominantly muslim area – you will then witness the true venom of this intolerent faith.

In Reply to Robert, In Islam there are different classes of people and when they quote from the Qur'an in the newspapers they intentionally mislead(An accepted islamic practice of Taqiyya- Google it) Some we would recognise as normal moral positions however if you deviate from the idiology by rejecting islam, marrying an infidel, being homosexual then the rules are barbaric and death is the usual remedy.

The world is also devided into two competing area's House of Islam and House of War. Anywhere without Sharia is house of War and certain liberties can be taken on the infidels.

The more a read about Islam the more obvious it is a political ideology similar to Nazi than to Jew or Christian.

All the wishy washy lefty tree huggers assume they are like us with a different book and should be tolorated and encouraged.

Our future generations deserve better. Enough is enough.

If you want to be scared imagine what they are not translating into English. Jewish information sites provide the most indepth information. Start reading as the sooner we all are informed the better. The goal of Islam is all people are either Dead or Islamic.

No religions have a "right to be at the heart of British judicial system". These outmoded, backward looking philosophies / fantasies should be confined to the historical dustbin. It took us centuries to rid ourselves of religious dominance (and its not over yet) and to build up a tolerant secular society and they want us to have it back in another even less attractive and intolerant guise. Well no f***ing way.

Islam is stuck more or less in the 15th century and needs to be modernised before it can be taken at all seriously by anyone (and never by me). Perhaps A New Islamic Project with Teflon Tony as chief Mullah.

In fact the article finishes on this note:
He later denied that he called for the introduction of Sharia Law. In a statement he said that he "certainly did NOT call for its introduction as some kind of parallel jurisdiction to the civil law." So he's having little or no truck with it.

Luke, I have to concur with you. Its a way of chipping away at democracy, especially equality rights that they oppose vehemently. What I find ironic and galling at the same time are the apologists for Islam who insist that it is a peaceful religion. According to the Quran, the taking of a life is wrong, yet they see nothing wrong executing their own gay people caught inflagrante delicto, let alone torture and mame them. None of their religious leaders decry it and I find that hypocritical and abominable. Equally abominable is the notion by our own Chief Justice and Rowan Williams that parts of Sharia law could be incorporated into our own legal system. What on earth are these people thinking? It insanity!

Islam is a wicked faith that puts us all at risk. I notice in today's Independent that Islamaphobia is on the rise in Britain. I say, 'Bring it on!'

The Indy also states that Muslims feel like the Jews did in pre-war Germany. It conveniently overlooks how gay people feel in Iran and Saudi Arabia!

It's a drip, drip ratchet effect with islam spreading it's influence in the UK and Europe generally.

Sharia law is barbaric and should have no place in the UK.

But unless people wake up to the demographic threat, we really are screwed.

It's just a question of at what point the gullible idiots who think islam is a religion of peace and not a political ideology hell bent on conquering Europe actually realise the truth.
