Nobody should be denied that right. If they choose to opt for something different, such as a civil union, partnership, so be it, but don't deny our right to marry either. By not supporting our right to marry, people, particulary gay people who are against same-sex marriage are supporting discrimination and those institutions who are against our right to marry. Amazing that we're the only western European society that doesn't have a marriage equality lobby. What galls some of us is that Stonewall doesn't even support it either, so my future financial donations will definitely not be going there but ILGA and Ireland's marriage equality lobby.
