I totally concur with Tony Crew's article. Its not about equality at all, how can it be when you segregate an entire group of people with similar but not all rights as enjoyed by their married straight counterparts. Where's the equality in that? With the exception of Spain, the other five countries that allow their gay citizens to marry abandoned second rate partnerships/unions because unlike our own UK government and the majority of its gay citizens, they realised that they were not about equality and in fact discriminated by their very nature. In a true democracy, you can't have one set of rules for the majority and another for one specific group, that alone is discrimination in its purest form. Shameful!

Well it's totally true. Civil unions provide about 1/3 the benefits of marriage. For the truth about gay marriage check out our trailer. Produced to educate & defuse the controversy it has a way of opening closed minds & provides some sanity on the issue: www.OUTTAKEonline.com
