Just another backwards thinking EU member. Soon we'll have five member states offering marriage as an option and a right for those who so wish it, Sweden and Norway will join Holland, Belgium and Spain of course. I would imagine Denmark will follow suit. Its growing, slowly but surely. Once France and Germany upgrade, there will be no stopping it. In these cases it seems that religion is playing its old, reactionary, part, where it effectively claims ownership of marriage. It is sickening that in the EU there are still countries including those that suffered under Nazi rule, that consider it acceptable to treat some people as less than equal. And again, they seem to be the countries that depend on handouts from the more liberal western ones. I despair of humanity, I really do - we always seem to need scapegoats or less equals. oops
