Strange to some - but time has away of clarifying the view....
Shocked and sad that such a passionate and deeply satirical talent has left this world. We need more like you Paul..I didn't know you as well as most at Crofton - but you were always in view. Regrettably I crossed your path wrongly once - and I fear it coloured your opinion of me - if only you knew..
Here's to you.

It was very upsetting to hear the news of Paul's death.

Paul was a great friend and working colleague at Crofton School during the 80's and 90's and a massive inspiration to me in challenging homophobia in the classroom and elsewhere. He gave me the courage to continue to this day.

He was himself extraordinarily courageous in the struggle for gay equality in schools. He was a great influence within the NUT and the LGBT group.

Paul brought Crofton school into the forefront of the struggle for the acceptance of gay sexuality in schools.

Paul was a Socialist and a blistering anti-fascist.

We have lost a tower of strength, a good man, a man who was generous, often amusing and funny and hugely inspirational.

There was never a dull moment with him.

He was 'one of us' and I am so proud of what he achieved in a life tragically cut short.

With solidarity and love to you Paul.

this is such sad news. i'd only spoken to him a couple of times but he was so helpful in trying to get some useful info for me in taking anti homophobia into schools in this area. i met him at the schools out conference last year which was real catalyst for getting anti homphobia work into shcools here in wales. he's a real loss to the movement.

This is such sad news. I've spoken with him about work we could do in schools in Wales and met him at the amazing conference last year which was a real catalyst for anti homophobia work in wales. Such a loss. Such sad news.
