Oasis singer Liam Gallagher has used his bands recent tour to launch an attack on the England football team by calling them a bunch of "gay boys"

The front man said: "At times the England players seem to play like women. Beckham and others, they're gay boys."

He was speaking at the start of a concert in Brazil, where he slammed the England team along with U2 and the Rolling Stones.

According to the Sun, Mr Gallagher called England captain David Beckham a "nancy boy" and said, "I'm not one of those people who are that patriotic when it comes to the England team. I think that if you play direct football and deserve to win, you win."
