Very mature David A., more so than most anti-Christian folks that I've come across. I don't see how any Christian can deny this:

"26For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; " (Romans 1:26-28)

That is clearly anti-homosexual. Homosexuality and Christianity are therefore incompatible, as the Bible calls homosexuality a "Vile affection" – a love of something which is disgusting, "against nature", and "error".

A question to any self respecting Christian: How can you call yourself a Christian if you do not accept the entire Bible? Jesus himself taught the divine inspiration of the scriptures…

David A et al: belief is never the issue for atheists. The problem is when believers :1 insist on proseletising their religion, even if it is unwelome to the listener2 insist on importing their religious attitudes into law. I accept that certain moral or ethical precepts obtain in the secular view as well, but those based SOLELY on belief that something is "sinful" is not acceptable to those of different or no religious faith

Congratulations on acepting yourself as one of God's beautiful creations! I was forced to sever ties with my denominaiton in 1978 (Southern Baptist)after 10 years as a closeted ordained minister. God has opened so many more doors for me and given me an even greater ministry than I could have ever imagined since taking a stand to be an open Christian Gay. God never allows one door to shut without opening a world of opportunities for you to share His love with others.

I'm also a gay christian, and I understand the difficulty in coming out. Most of us have been taught since childhood that bein gay is wrong in God's eyes. Each person knows of their relationship with God, and only they know if they have accepted Christ into their heart.I believe God forgives sin. I'm not saying that being gay is a sin, that's up to each individual.Non believers find it easy to mock Christians. But Christians have every right to their beliefs and just because you disagree, it doesn't necessarily make them wrong.

Well I'm delighted for Mr Southworth, but he let something very telling slip about the other gays in the "Christian industry". Never has so much a true word been used to describe it – a racket, Chaucerian fraud of the lowest kind.I hope he makes amends by exposing the way Exodus and NARTH, and other rip-off artists are sucking the funds of gay people in the name of Jesus.
