Why do they need this ban when all the blood is screened for HIV in the first place?!

They're keeping this ridiculous ban because less than 20 out of 3 million blood donations came from HIV+ gay men?No… no discrimination here at all…(also, why the hell should asking if the donor is gay be part of the "further enquiries"?)

Just to correct this article, according to the government's website the petition was signed by 5,234 people (rather than "over 500″ as stated here). Still, the government has basically said "no change".
