Obama wins Washington state and Nebraska
Illinois Senator Barack Obama claimed yet another state for his war chest on Saturday, defeating rival New York Senator Hillary Clinton in the Nebraska caucus results.
Obama took the victory by a landslide, showing once again his campaign's enormous strength in caucus states.
Obama also won in the Washington caucus results on Saturday.
With 85 percent of precincts reporting in the Nebraska Democratic caucuses, Barack Obama led over Hillary Clinton 68 percent to 32 percent of the vote.
Based on exit polls and counted votes, CNN declared Obama as the projected winner of the contest.
Twenty-four pledged delegates are up for grabs in the Nebraska Democratic primary.
Six party leaders will serve as unpledged delegates and an additional unpledged delegate will be selected at the state convention on June 28.
The Nebraska Republican primary will take place on May 13.
