American History teaches its students that American Forefathers such as Washington, John Adams, John Hancock, etc.. wrote our Declaration of Independence as a statement against the tyranny of King George III, and the lack of representation afforded to its subjects in America, particularly in regard to taxation matter. How ironic is it than that the government that is "of the people, by the people, for the people" turns around and performs the same tyrannical acts upon its own citizens? Perhaps it is time for same sex couples to write their own doctrine. I'm thinking we should call it the "Declaration of Fabulousness!" We could then form our own country ...maybe annex Ellis or Fire Island... to form the United Confederation of Rainbowland. What to you think?
