Robert XPI heard that the Dead sea scrolls claim that there were two Jesuses, 80 years betwen each other.This may negate the possibility of a supernatural aspect to him.As atheists of course we already know the answer to that.The child molestation affair is beyond scandalous, how such a organ as the Catholic church can preach to the rest of humanity about morality is well its just a disgrace isn't it?I am really beginning to get the strong impression that the way Church groups, Catholics,Evangelicals and the African Anglicans are going after gay people has all the hallmarks of the way the Nazis went after the Jews.I realise that's a contentious thing to say but I really think it.

Hi, World of Twist! Actually, the vatican has been suppressing that information for millenia. Does make you wonder though, what is it that scares them so much that our eyes are not fit to read any of it? But then, they've covered up their long tradition of paedophilia for centuries and believe it or not, its still going on in spite of the recent scandal. One of the most secretive cults on the planet. So its now wonder they're so afraid to open the much sought after manuscripts. Obviously, a lot to hide.

Hiya Robert,ExP.How are thee?Yes I know this sounds very much like a cliche but some of my very best friends are Unitarians and Anglicans including my very best friend in the world.According to her if it's right by Jesus it's right by her and he didn't seem to have a problem with it. What he did seem to have a problem with was divorce but the Christiban seem strangley mute on the subject. Yet more hypocrisyOn another gay blog on another planet this nugget caught my attention from a poster-"Jesus uses his teaching on the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5-7) to illustrate and clarify the ten commandments. For example, murder. He teaches that hating a person is equal to murder. It is a condition of the heart. In fact all the commandments are a condition of the heart. Desiring my neighbors belongings are equal to theft. (It is just not wanting the item, it is a burning desire to have your neighbors stuff to the point of causing harm and not earn it on your own). Ultimately, that negative energy gets in the way with a relationship with God. "" It was all written by infallible, unsophisticated men. Not one woman was involved with any of the scriptural writings, though I put my money on betting that those ever so secret writings that the vatican refuses to release for all of us to read, writings that were supposed to be included in the bible, would turn the entire christian world on its head"Now that would be very interesting indeed. World of twist, if you look at the new testament even closer, and I'm an atheist too, Jesus Christ was a progressive and a radical. He susbscibed to none of the bigotry or hypocrisy that the christo-fascists spew day after day, including the pope and his cultist followers. Nor die he denigrate gays let alone say one word about them. As for same-sex marriage, he never commented on it either nor did he say that marriage should be between a man and a woman. It was all written by infallible, unsophisticated men. Not one woman was involved with any of the scriptural writings, though I put my money on betting that those ever so secret writings that the vatican refuses to release for all of us to read, writings that were supposed to be included in the bible, would turn the entire christian world on its head. It makes you wonder why this church lives in fear of them ever being made public. I also suspect that celibacy was not on the table or that homosexuality was sinful either. Remember the fuss they made over the Da Vinci Code? The ones who protest too much are questionable aren't they?

One hates to invoke Godwin's law here but there seem to be shades of Nazism here. Right wing outfits and Church groups vilifying and demonizing gay people for political means.What's truly shocking is the revisionist slant of many Evangelists, many do not equate the gentle Jesus of Sunday school with Liberalism. Hate mongers like Anne Coulter even believe the basic tenet of Jesus' teachings i.e. being thoroughly nice to one's fellow man are not intrinsic to Christianity.I'm an atheist but for my money Jesus was the ultimate Liberal.What a strange dichotomy in a country that's big on Jesus yet thinks liberalism is a dirty word.And we thought it was bad under Bush, I fear as America lurches more and more into Deism that there may be trouble ahead. A great deal of it.I hope I'm wrong.
