Now after 2 years of civil partnerships, doesn't that prove that they are not equal if companies, businesses are still refusing to recognise them? Marriage would have avoided all of it; and all that nonsense recently about about banks and other financial institutions not having had enough time to change their forms to include a civil partnership category, pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase! How can anyone be that naive? Cut the crap. Its discrimination that only marriage can remedy and everybody knows it.
