And, on an article about a young gay lad being murdered by islamic nutters in Iran, comrade Bill is still preoccupied with the Conservative party in the UK! Ireland gets a mention too, as does the Pope and the USA.But it's not quite a full house on Bill's Bullshit Bingo card. He forgot Israel. Yes, same old same old. Mother Superior repeats his prior claims that he has no GLBT ‘brothers and sisters’ and opposes international solidarity with GLBT folks in the Middle East, Iraq, Ireland and elsewhere. We believe it. We get the picture. Will someone please explain to him that his unending and dismal justifications for conservative superstitious bigots are tiresome and pointless. No one expects him to suddenly acquire a conscience or an education. We know that Mother Superior defends bigots in England for the same reason that the English Conservative Party flirts with their partners in the rabidly bigoted Polish Law and Justice Party. Mother Superior and the Conservative Thatcherites are reactionary trolls. Same old, same old.

But they didn’t. His orders have been carried out with zeal by the Badr Corps, armed by the invading US army. al-Sistani and his fellow shiite ayatollahs in Iran are almost certainly responsible for thousands of murders of GLBT folk. The assembled clerics could have renounced their own bigotry in describing us as "evil". But they didn’t. Some islamists deliberately couple violence with bigotry much more than hypocritical conservative christians do but both types result in harassment, beatings and death. That of the islamists is much, much worse in scale, but not in intention. The antigay venom and threats of the Paisleyites, Mugabe in Zimbabwe, the Ayatollahs, Der Pope, and US televangelists are disguises for their reactionary and conservative political agendas.
