Here in the UK, we are blessed in being part of a society were all sorts of people rub together pretty well most of the time. Recently, I saw John Barrowman of "Torchwood" fame. He is a gay Scottish-American who recently formed a Civil Partnership with the man he loves here in the UK. He wasn't able to do that in the USA, despite him being a citizen of both countries. And that makes me feel intensely proud. Proud of who I am, and proud to be British.But elsewhere in this crazy world of ours, I see immense suffering amongst the GLBT communities throughout the world.
