i am only 14, and i am looking forward until i am old enough to give blood. my dad gives blood, and i have been with him many times. i understand that gay/homosexuals may find it discriminating being told that they can't donate blood, but that's for a reason. think about it, if someone had a life threatening disease, and then suddenly doctors found a matching blood type, later that patient died from contracting aids. how would you feel if it was you? people make choices for reasons. this reason is to help save lives.
