There is an unholy alliance at the moment between the left wing (which I would call myself a member of) and Islamic groups who preach an atavistic gospel of homophobia, antisemitism, misogyny and paranoia. To use the Palestinian cause an excuse to spout anti-Jewish, anti-American, anti-gay theories is a disgrace. Thank heavens for Peter Tatchell.
