If you like this then please subscribe to the Organisers of Pride London have already started preparing for next year's Arts Festival, following the overwhelming success of the events this year.
The Arts Festival has become a key part of Pride London, which promotes lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender culture and understanding.
Pride London is now looking for people to help shape the 2008 festival, including programmers, fundraisers, publicity experts and steering committee members.
The Pride Arts Festival ran from 15th to 30th June this year, featuring the very best of LGBT arts, entertainment and sports.
There were over 300 exhibitions, film screenings, sporting events, concerts, theatre, comedy and cabaret performances, as well as special galas and one-off parties.
Paul Birrell, Chair of Pride London, told pinknews.co.uk:
"We are a community charity, run by volunteers, and the Arts Festival is fast becoming one of the most successful things we do.
"Being from Edinburgh I appreciate a good festival and understand the amount of work that goes into creating one.
"To be something worthy of London we do need people to get involved in their event."
Highlights of the Arts Festival this year included new feminist film event, Club des Femmes; a Marlene Dietrich tribute evening, presented by Gay Times writer Terry Sanderson and stand-up comedy from TV presenter Sue Perkins.
The event also played host to The Gay Gordons, London's LGBT Scottish country dance club; a long-awaited revival of Alan Ayckbourn's play Bedroom Farce and a six-a-side football tournament organised by London Falcons FC.
