No July edition of Attitude magazine
Gay lifestyle magazine attitude has failed to appear for the second time in six months.
The Press Gazette reports that staff have not been paid since April, as the magazine's parent company, Giant Clipper, goes through a financial crisis.
Newsagents WH Smith has refused to stock the magazine because of unpaid bills.
However, insiders told PinkNews.co.uk that there are a range of interested parties willing to invest in the title.
The title was sold to Giant Clipper after its former publisher, Remnant Media, suffered financial problems.
attitude first appeared in May 1994.
It is famous for its fashion reportage and photography, and for the wide range of celebrities who have graced its cover.
It is also widely praised for its social journalism, the Youth issues in particular demonstrating how much of a lifeline the magazine had become for isolated LGBT youth.
Perhaps attitude's finest hour so far was June 2002, when David Beckham, captain of the England football team, was the cover model, weeks before the start of the World Cup.
Editor Adam Mattera won BSME Men's Magazine Editor of the Year in 2005, and was again nominated in 2006.
