Conservatives are the same all over the world. Over here in the USA, the majority of the Republican party (our Conservative party) are against equality and most oppose openly Gay men and women serving in the military. Just because of Blair's failed Iraq policy should not deter anyone from supporting Labour or Liberal Dems again. They're not perfect, no party is, but you'll not get much support from the Tories if Cameron gets his way. You'll end up like the USA with conservative, bible-thumping morons running the show doing all they can to undo your hard-earned rights. Don't let that happen.
