Every time a story appears about Paris Hilton on this site, the whole site demeans itself. And who has declared that she is a 'gay icon'? What an absolute joke.Similarly, why do we get a story about John Prescott – a news item with no 'gay angle' at all? Pink News has got to decide its remit if it wants to be taken seriously as a 'news' site.My regret is that I have wasted 2 minutes making this post.

I wonder if the term "medical assessment" might refer to a test to see if Ms. Hilton has a brain? All other observations seem to point to the contrary, and the only "icon" this upstart fool could be is an icon of stupidity.

I's a bit of fun to make this point:It would be interesting to know whether Paris Hilton paid for her medical assessment.Would other, poorer inmates be offered the same assessments and the opportunity to switch to house arrests?Or are prisons just like the rest of the USA, the richer you are the more options you have? But that of course doesn't mean it was the case with Paris
