Pride London main acts announced
Pride London has announced the acts that will be performing on the main stage in Trafalgar Square.
The event, which takes place on June 30, will take place after the parade and will start at 2pm.
Headlining is Darren Hayes, formerly of Savage Garden. Pride London patron Mz Fontaine will follow, along with QBoy, who recently performed across America on the Homo Revolution tour.
This year's presenters are Graham Norton, John Barrowman, Amy Lamé, Jamie Crick and Lucio of Capital Radio.
Guest speakers will include the Mayor of London, Lord Smith and Kristine Garina Chair of Moziaka Riga, Pride London's twinned event.
Pete Heyes, Production Director of Pride London, said: "The main stage is the place where we try to bring together the politics and entertainment that define Pride London.
"This year we really wanted to showcase acts that the gay community is listening to.
"All our artists, presenters and programmers give their time to the charity for free, and the high-profile line-up shows their skill and commitment, for which we are very grateful."
"It was hard work to follow the success of EuroPride, but we feel that this year Pride London has really got to the roots of committed musical and artistic talent."
The full line up includes:
Darren Haynes
Jimmy Sommerville
UnkleJam
Dragonettes
Axe Girl
QBoy
Nemesis
Mz Fontaine
Kelly and The Kelly Girls
Aquilas Kiss
