Two men have been arrested and charged with the killing of Bryan Charles Kosis, owner of gay pornographic movie company Cobra Video.

According to the Associated Press, Harlow R. Cuadra, 25, and Joseph M. Kerekes, 33, were arrested in Virginia Beach, Virginia.

The state police did not specify a motive.

The 44-year-old Kocis' body was found in late January by firefighters responding to a blaze at his home in Dallas Township.

His house was set on fire after he was killed.

Police told the Scranton Times-Tribune that the suspects, who ran gay escort and video businesses, lived an extravagant lifestyle with a $500,000 (£254,000) home and expensive cars.

The pair are currently under investigation for possible violations of the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organisations Act, conspiracy to launder money and conspiracy to receive money from the earnings of male and female prostitution, according to the Times-Tribune.

They remain jailed in the Virginia Beach Correctional Centre.

They are charged with homicide, accomplice to murder, burglary, robbery, arson, theft, tampering with evidence, abuse of corpse, and criminal conspiracy to commit such crimes.

Kocis had been sentenced in May 2002 to a year of probation for possessing a videotape that showed him having sex with a 15-year-old boy.

More serious charges were later dropped when the youth said he misrepresented his age to Kocis.
