Been there. A few rather timid voices querulously questioning in overly-polite terms the violent hate-speech of Akinola and his ilk. Much like the timid and cowardly submission of Williams himself.I can't do better than to repeat a quote from one of the (very few) anti-homophobia threads at the Web site you link to. Martin Luther King, Jr."Now there was a man who understood that silence is consent.

Ha ha ha! Good Lord! Has the man no shame at all! If it wasn't so sad, it would be funny! After several years of actively pandering to the raging bigots in the Anglican church as they whip up a storm of hatred against us, the man has the unmitigated gall to suggest that this same organisation – an organisation that contains such delightful folk as Archbishop Peter Akinola – should 'provide a safe place' for gay and lesbian people! Ha ha ha!! The man is either a hypocrite or a fool.
