The UK's leading HIV and sexual health charity is holding its annual youth event in April, providing gay young people an informal space to engage with issues of health and sexuality and meet new people.

The Terrence Higgins Trust's youth service, NRG, is also holding prom for lesbian gay or bisexual under 21s and those who are questioning their sexuality.

'Moving On Up', will consist of workshops on topics ranging from hair and beauty to tai chi.

In the evening attendees will don their handbags and glad rags for the event's prom.

"'Moving On Up' is a fantastic event and those who've attended in previous years have really loved it," said Aretha Banton, the Trust's Youth Services Programme Officer.

"The workshops are fun and interesting and the prom in the evening is always a real highlight," she added.

The event is being held on April 28th in Waterloo.

The charity provides a range of services across the UK for people with or affected by HIV and also lobbies for greater political and public understanding of the impact of HIV and sexual health on peoples lives.
