A 29-year-old man who had previously been convicted of sex offences shaved his entire body hair and used make-up to cover up stubble posed as a 12-year-old boy for two years, police in Arizona claim.

Neil Havens Rodreick II, who is five foot eight, posed as school boy Casey Price at the Imagine School in Phoenix, Arizona, for four months, before being expelled for poor attendance.

According to the police he also convinced two men who were allegedly seeking out boys on the internet to pose as his relatives. Lonnie Stiffler, 61, posed as his grandfather and Robert Snow, 43, posed as his uncle.

The authorities claim that another sex offender, 34-year-old sex Brian Nellis who had served time with Rodreick in prison.

It is believed that he also briefly attended two other schools in Arizona. Pupils have been interviewed but it is currently not believed that Roderick molested or attacked them.

His previous conviction was for lewdly proposition a six-year-old boy in Oklahoma in 1996. He has been charged with forgery and fraud over the most recent incidents.

Police have also accused him of sexual assault on a girl and appearing in a home made video engaging in sexual activities with a further minor.

The New York Times claims that the four men have been charged.
