Walliams reveals rift with Boy George
Gay singer Boy George got his claws out against comic David Walliams this week while filming a comedy quiz.
The artist was appearing on Channel 4's Big Fat Quiz of the Year when he asked Walliams about Matt Lucas, his Little Briatian partner's civil partnership last week.
Walliams replied, "Very nice thank you. It was great you weren't there."
He later clarified his comments, as The Daily Mirror reports, "There's a background to this. I wouldn't be mean for the sake of it," he said.
Comedian Russell Brand, also on the show to be broadcast next Wednesday, said: "Boy George thinks Matt Lucas isn't a good example of homosexuality."
