Just when the Christian-Right was recovering from the revelations of Evangelical preacher Ted Haggard's gay meetings, another leader has stepped down after a male prostitute revealed more gay relations within the church.

Paul Barnes has stepped down as head of the Grace Chapel in Colorado after an anonymous rent boy threatened to go public with his name and others.

His spokeswoman, Michelle Ames, told Reuters that Barnes, married with two daughters, was confronted by a pastor who received the calls, and confessed.

He joins Reverend Ted Haggard, formerly Senior Pastor of the New Life Church in Colorado, in the Evangelical doghouse after it was reported that he had meetings with a gay rent boy.

Male escort, Mike Jones, claims that Haggard, a vocal opponent of gay marriage, was a monthly client for the last three years.
