Brokeback Mountain opens cowboy wardrobe
Labour Deputy Prime Minister John Prescott will be able to feed his cowboy fetish this weekend when the entire wardrobe of gay cowboy movie Brokeback Mountain goes on sale.
The film is auctioning outfits warn by Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger to raise money for the Human Rights Campaign (HRC).
The HRC works for greater lesbian and gay rights and is holding its 10th annual dinner this weekend where it will honour guests such as tennis legend Billie Jean King and former N'Sync singer Lance Bass.
Most recently the group has campaigned for equal tax benefits for gay couples and freedom from discrimination in US states, the annual dinner helps raise funds for further campaigns.
The auction will be launched on Saturday and will run between October 13th until October 20th.
The entire wardrobe from the award winning film Brokeback Mountain will be on offer including cowboy hats, boots, and jeans.
Deputy Prime Minister Mr Prescott drew criticism earlier this year for accepting a cowboy outfit from a contoversial US tycoon, but no-one could fault him for feeding his hobby on this occasion.
Other items going under the hammer include a $30,000 trip to South America and a $10,000 shopping spree.
